See how ceramics are made and
try your hand at making your own!
First, white clay is used to make the vessel.
The vessel is then dried and baked in an 800-degree
kiln. After the vessel has undergone this
primary heating step, you can use ceramic
pens and paints to color or decorate your
vessel anyway you like.
After you decorate your vessel, it must be
baked a second time at 1,250 degrees. Now
your vessel is ready to be used.
